For our second year at Festival Internacional de Piano in Lucena, Andalucia we were set yet another acoustic challenge by the organisers. The previous year’s solution to their acoustic problems, a tensioned, convex reflective membrane, had worked splendidly and they had decided they now needed a non amplified foldback system.

Our answer was an ingenious one. Six critically sculpted reflectors were constructed by local craftsmen to our design and hung from brackets attached to the top of the main stage truss.

All of the internationally acclaimed musicians who subsequently performed at the Festival were overjoyed at how well the system worked.   Another first for Bill Harkin Associates. This year, onstage acoustic bass enhancement !
